This is a recipe from my childhood that my mother would always make and I still love it today!
1 pkg lime flavored gelatine (small)
1 C pear juice, heated
1 3-oz. pkg softened cream cheese
1 C canned pears
1 C cream, whipped
Dissolve gelatine in heated pear juice. Blend together cream cheese and pears with an electric mixer until smooth. Add to hot gelatin mixture and mix well until cheese is fairly well dissolved. Cool in refrigerator (do NOT set). Whip and fold in cream. Chill until firm.
Yummy! I love pears in lime Jello but have never tried this kind with the heated pear juice, cream cheese, and whipped cream. Looks wonderful! Definitely a must try for Sunday dinner!
