Peanut Butter Cookies

I love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate and these cookies fill that sweet spot.

Ingredients:

1/2 C butter, softened
1/2 C peanut butter
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C packed brown sugar
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t baking powder
1 egg
1/2 t vanilla
1 1/4 C flour
1/2 to 1 T milk (add this at the very end just to make the dough smooth and creamy)
1/2 to 1 C chocolate chips.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.  Add sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and baking powder.  Beat until combined.  Beat in egg and vanilla until combined.  Beat in flour then add milk just enough to make dough soft and creamy.  Add in chocolate chips.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  grease cookie sheet or use a silpat on your cookie sheet to help the cookies bake evenly.  Bake for 7-9 min. or until bottoms of cookie are light brown.

Enjoy these cookies with a tall glass of cold milk.
