This is a birthday cake that I made for my mom's 78th birthday. My sweet daughter helped out with the flowers. We used the cake tip 104, 103, and 102 for the flowers. We then added the green leaves that made the finishing touch.
I will share a baking tip that was given to me. I put cut out a round piece of parchment paper to place at the bottom of the 8 inch round pan and lightly greased the sides with Crisco. After baking, I cooled the cakes completely and put them in the fridge overnight. When ready to frost the cakes, I took them out of the fridge and the cakes popped out of the pans and the parchment paper came off the bottom of the cakes beautifully.
