What a fun morning breakfast to start off St. Patrick's Day.
So simple, So Fun!
Use any pancake recipe to make 3 heart shape pancakes and a long stem to make the clover complete.
The recipe I used was the Wheat Pancake Quick Mix:
Mix:
10 C whole wheat flour
1 C powdered milk
½ C sugar (optional)
1/3 C baking powder
1 T salt
Mix together and store in airtight container. Keep in refrigerator for 6 weeks or in freezer for 6 months. When introducing my family to wheat pancakes, I used 6 C wheat and 4 C white flour and gradually went to 10 C wheat flour.
Pancake batter:
Mix together:
2 C whole wheat mix
¼ C oil
1 ¾ C water
1 egg
10 C whole wheat flour
1 C powdered milk
½ C sugar (optional)
1/3 C baking powder
1 T salt
