Macaroni and Cheese


My daughter loves mac and cheese and I can't stand the boxed stuff, so we tried a new recipe for homemade macaroni and cheese and it turned out great!  Magic sauce is the key!

Ingredients:

1 1/2  to 2 C macaroni 
1/3 C magic sauce mixed with 1 1/4 C water. (See magic sauce recipe under sauce)
1/2 C evaporated milk (optional)
1/2 C Sausage (optional)
1 C grated cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Cook macaroni; drain, put into a bowl.  
Cook magic sauce according to directions and afterwards mix in evaporated milk.
Mix together the macaroni and the magic sauce.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Mix in sausage.
Pour mixture into a sprayed baking pan.

Cook in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes, until warm.
Spread cheese on top and bake additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
